RULES AND REGULATIONS

 

Only Big Daddy’s Baits may be used during official tournament hours.

Anglers may ONLY possess products made by Big Daddy’s Baits, with the exception of Craw-style baits used for jig trailers.

  • All swimbaits and swimbait heads associated with the Dayton Boat Dock rig must be made Big Daddy’s Baits.
  • Any brand trailer is permitted to be used in tandem with THE JIG.
  • ONLY craw-style baits will be allowed.

*** Lures may be altered, but MUST FUNCTION IN STOCK FORM. I.e. An angler may trim the hair on the Hair Jig, but they may not add a blade. ***

Tournament Waters and Off-Limits

  • Tournament waters will consist of Watts Bar Lake and any bay, creek, or tributary connecting to Watts Bar Lake.
  • Any placed marked “No Fishing”, “No Entry”, etc. will be off-limits.
  • Locking is NOT permitted.

Size Limits and Penalties

  • Bag Size will be a five (5) fish limit.
  • Size Limits will be as follows: Largemouth – 15 in., Smallmouth – 18 in., Spots – 12 in. *Meanmouth will be counted as Smallmouth*
  • Short Fish will result in loss of that fish and a one (1) pound penalty.
  • Dead Fish will not be weighed
  • All Anglers must be in on time. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.

Permitted Fishing Methods

  • All State and Federal laws apply.
  • At no time may an angler use more than one rod, reel, and/or lure.
  • Trolling will not be permitted.

Safety and Sportsmanship

  • All anglers must act and operate in a safe manner.
  • A USCG approved PFD must be worn anytime the outboard engine is on.
  • All anglers are expected to conduct themselves in a sportsmanlike manner.
